The Embodied Breath

A fusion of conscious movement and conscious breathing, The Embodied Breath will deepen your connection to self.

Inspired by a range of movement practices, this workshop will support participants in using conscious movement and conscious breathing to silence the mind, relax the nervous system and open the breath. This process will be followed by a 75-minute transpersonal breathwork session with a method called conscious connected breathing. This workshop will support you to:

  • access a deeper understanding of self and your experience of life;

  • quiet the thinking mind (mental chatter) and access the wisdom of the subconscious mind and body;

  • gain new information and clarity about life;

  • release old and outdated stories about yourself and how you are in this world;

  • let go of held or 'hidden' physical, emotional and mental patterns and stories;

  • bring your heart, body and mind into alignment; and

  • access a deeper understanding of your spirituality.

Transition Breath’s workshops are trauma-informed and apply holistic psychotherapy principles to every session. Transpersonal Breathwork is ideal for people experiencing mental health conditions such as chronic stress, anxiety and depression, processing trauma and wanting to find greater meaning in life. Joshua is presenting The Embodied Breath at the International Breathwork Foundation's annual global breathwork conference in Amsterdam in July.

This group breathwork session is held for all levels of experience and all bodies. This is a queer-friendly event.
